Used Beauty Equipment
Used beauty equipment is very easy to find and you don’t have to buy a generic brand either. Some of the more popular brands used in the most elite salons have used salon equipment. Be a frugal shopper when looking for used beauty equipment. Let’s take a look at buying a used styling station. You can find a top name styling station that comes complete with a tower for half the price of a new one. There are many online salon equipment stores that have a large line of used beauty equipment some even offering free shipping. Just search for “used beauty equipment” in either Google, Yahoo or MSN and you will see page after page of used equipment stores and wholesalers eager to sell you used salon equipment. Some websites may even have special pricing for shops owners just starting out.
With a little research you can find as much used beauty equipment as you need to open a very luxurious salon. Equipment for pedicures, manicures, styling chairs, hair dryers, massage tables, tanning beds can all be purchased used. How about a styling chair that sells for less than half the price of a brand new one? On the other hand, a unit for pedicures and manicures for a price in the two digits instead of three? Sometimes you may find a little scratch or dent or a slight tear in upholstery but compared to the price of brand new salon equipment those minor defects can easily be repaired.
You might also want to consider used beauty equipment that is portable. This way you can use it in your shop and also make home visits increasing your profits three times over!
Who knows you may find enough used salon equipment to open up a day spa instead of a beauty salon if you know where to look.
